The Moon after the Shadow

Tonight, I walked beneath a bright moon in partial eclipse.

I saw her at the height of her shadow, then watched the darkness begin to loosen until the light returned. And something in me understood.

Letting go is not one dramatic moment. Rather, it is simply allowing the shadow to pass.

I have spent enough time holding on — to old stories, old attachments, old expectations, to chapters whose time has long expired.

Tonight, I choose release. Not with force. Not with fear. Not because I know what comes next. Simply because I am ready to make room.

I release what no longer serves me. I release what I cannot control. I release the need to know how everything will unfold.

And I trust. Trust the timing. Trust the unfolding. Trust the journey. Trust the unknown.

The Moon was never lost in the shadow. Neither was I. The light was there all along.
