I Love Beautiful Movement

Recently, I realized something deeper about myself: I love beautiful movement.
Dance is beautiful movement. Every time I dance, something inside me is released. It softens me, brings me into the present moment, and reminds me that life is meant to be felt, not just managed. That’s why I treasure my Saturday 'BeMoved' classes.
Today, I experienced that same feeling during my Vinyasa Flow yoga class.
I love the boutique studio—the gentle lighting, the music, the peaceful atmosphere. Standing quietly at the back of the room, I found myself no longer trying to “perform” the poses. Instead, I allowed the sequence to become an embodied expression of what my body wanted to say. The transitions became fluid, intuitive, almost like a dance. It was pure joy.
That was when I realized something important. I don’t simply love exercise. I love beautiful movement. Walking. Yoga. Dance. They are different expressions of the same longing—to inhabit my body with grace, presence, and freedom.
As I approach my next chapter of life and career, I want to remember this. If a more demanding role comes my way, I will intentionally weave movement into my days. Not because it is another task on a wellness checklist, but because it is part of who I am.
Movement is not separate from my work. It is what keeps me alive within it. Without this rhythm, I might succeed professionally but lose something essential. Most importantly, I would lose the soul within me.
Beautiful movement isn’t a luxury in my life. It is home.
