Winter Arrives Unapologetically

ree

This morning, I woke up to a world blanketed in white -- 3 to 4 inches of fresh snow covering every branch and rooftop. The trees stood still under their soft weight, and the ground looks like it had been tucked under layers of cotton.

But it was Monday morning, and the day started early with an 8:30am board review meeting. My energy was more focused than free, yet I couldn't resist pausing for a few snapshots. Nature always finds her way to speak - even through a busy morning schedule.

Winter has its own personality. Behind the usual complaints -- the shoveling, the icy driveway, the road worries - it carries a quiet strength. It doesn't try to please or fit in. It arrives with presence, cold and magnificent, reminding us that beauty can coexist with inconvenience.

Winter doesn't apologize for who it is. It simply arrives -- and teaches us to meet life the same way.
