In my role, trust is the currency that makes everything possible.
Trust to handle sensitive information.
Trust to manage priorities without micromanagement. Trust to speak up when something isn't working.
You can have all the tools and systems in the world, but without trust, the working relationship falters.
I've learnt that trust is built quietly, over time, through consistency and discretion. It's in the emails that get handled, the trips that go smoothly, the details that never have to be asked twice.
Trust isn't loud - but it's everything.
