Storm Reset

Tonight brings a severe thunderstorm - a sign of total renewal.
The thunderstorm feels like a fitting night cap for a day of complete pause and healing. The rumbling thunder rolls through the night, lightning flashes illuminate the torrential rain, and together they wash the world clean, as if sweeping the slate entirely clean for what comes next.
The last three months have turned my world upside down, and I was bracing it all with silent steel within. Today, it hit a pause, a stop. I just let myself sleep half a day. Everything becomes meditative as I move silently, with my cats contentedly watching.
Now the storm. All the rumble and flash outside seem to echo the release that's been building inside me. There's a strange comfort in the intensity, a reminder that renewal often comes through letting go.
I sit quietly and feel the world breathe with me, grateful for the pause, and the cleansing energy of the storm.
