Seeing True Greatness

Recently, I experienced a moment that reminded me what real greatness looks like. A friend showed me that it's not measured by titles, money, glamorous travel, or even how smart or eloquent someone appears. True greatness shines in the quiet acts of compassion, in the ability to feel for another, and in showing up with kindness when it matters most.
To me, this friend towers above anyone I've met who is richer or more capable. Her generosity and heart are what leave a lasting impression. I feel so moved that she spent close to $100 getting 15 of my published books as a show of support. It represents a meaningful portion of her hard-earned paycheck working as a phlebotomist in a hospital.
Her example has sparked something in me: The desire to create books and journals that genuinely help people, small acts that carry care, empathy, and inspiration forward. Sometimes, witnessing true kindness is all it takes to awaken your own.
