Rooted Where I Am

A conversation today reminded me that I am exactly where I need to be. The road ahead stretches clearly into 2026-2027 and my role in it is pivotal. This is where I am rooted.

The gentle feedback on arriving earlier to the office was a nudge toward greater alignment. I see the wisdom in matching the rhythm of the office, especially with a new C-suite executive who I am supporting. Though I've always been given the leeway to work longer hours at the back end, beginning my day earlier reflects a professionalism that matters. I receive this guidance with gratitude and readiness to adapt.

I also see my own truth: I am not yet ready for the kind of "high flying" job I considered. There are areas of discipline, presence, and refinement I must strengthen first. Rather than feeling defeated, I feel empowered. This awareness means I can prepare, grow, and become fully ready for my next big chapter, whenever it's time.

Until then, I will stay deeply committed, learning, building, and becoming the kind of assistant who can stand tall when the right door opens.
