Not an Early Riser

ree

If I am honest, my greatest weakness is that I am not an early rise. I am not the one who springs out of bed at 5 a.m., ready to take on the world with a morning workout, a green smoothie, and an inbox already half-cleared before the sun comes up.

I admire people who live that way. They look like corporate warriors - disciplined, unstoppable, already three steps ahead before the rest of the world wakes up.

But that has never been me.

Instead, my mornings are slower, quieter. I need my own rhythm before I can show up at full capacity. I am someone who draws strength from the preparation I put in the night before, so when morning arrives, I can step forward with clarity and a steady foundation.

Still, I carry a deep desire to grow into someone who rises with the sun. Not to prove myself against others, but to expand my own capacity to experience life from another angle.

And yet, I also believe the Universe gifts us different rhythms. Some are designed to sprint at dawn. Others, like me, are given strength in the stillness before action. Both ways hold value. Both can lead to impact, as long as we honor the discipline of showing up fully when it's our time.

So yes, I may not be the 5 a.m. riser, but I follow a rhythm that is steady, thoughtful, and aligned with how I can give my best, and that consistency has become my quiet advantage.
