The In-Between

Drizzling rain lingers tonight, a quiet whisper that fall has truly arrived. Under the trees, yellow leaves gather in gentle piles, a soft carpet marking the season's shift.
There is something tender about autumn (fall). The sun still holds a trace of summer's warmth, yet the air already carries the fragrance of change. It feels like standing in two worlds at once - the brightness that is fading and the quiet that is beginning.
This in-between is a time of preparing. Nature pulls back, gathering strength inward, and I feel invited to do the same. To pause, to sink in, to ready for shorter-day quieter-night, for the hush and hues that only fall can bring.
